PreviewHello again!
I just wanted to give an update on all that is going on around here. First, I have a very nice preview to show everyone. As I've mentioned before and you may not believe me, we are working on a new site design so I am posting a sample of the new design thus far:
In other news, the short film "Hunter" is finally finished. I've been working on it since spring semester as the Post Production Supervisor, Editor, Sound Designer, Online Editor, and doing some other stuff for it. Basically I have been doing the majority of the postproduction work. Anyways, it is finally done which means I can now get back to work on my own short film, "Fallout." It is already edited and online color correction has been completed. Now we have to finish sound design/mix and special effects and it will finally be complete! I'll be doing FX work, adding in gun flares, more scratch/dust removal, and converting it back to a true 24fps format, while my friend Ryan will be in charge of the sound work. We also have a composer but at the moment I can't remember his/her name so I will just have to give them an honorable mention at this moment but the point is we do have one. Alright time to be done writing news, keep watching Chicago!

Design UpdateWe've been doing quite a bit of work preparing a new design for the site before we go completely gung-ho with the functionality aspect. It's looking good and hopefully Hobo_geek will have more time to work on it in the coming days, but once that is done, our coders will be hard at work on the site features. It's coming!

Upcoming Events!Hello everyone! midas here, just popping in to let everyone know that I may be working on the site a bit more in the future.
I am going to try and iron out some of the design details with hobo geek and rockfx01. After that, I will more than likely be re-writing the site from scratch. hopefully this time around the site may actually look "good" haha. I am going to be trying a few new things, we have a whole new design planned out and if everything goes according to said plan, you will be impressed with the results.
As for the site development team, all changes to the roster are up to rockfx01 (Tim), and I would like to add a few more coders to the group. For now the team is comprised of Hobo Geek, midas (me), and rockfx01. I know there has been a few inquiries about helping with the site, and if you have any please send a email to admin@whatisboom.com and you MUST include your FULL (first and last) name, at least (more is better) one websites/projects you ahve worked on.

NEWS! Well, it's been quite some time since my last update and I thought I should throw everyone a bone on how things are going. The trip to Poland was excellent and I came back with about 14 rolls of pictures. I still have to scan 90% of the pictures, but school has been keeping me busy. Speaking of, I will be graduating in about 3 weeks. For good. Expect some updates around here after May 14th, since then I should have lots and lots of free time to work on the site.
So now I have to find a job. Not a summer job, no -- a career job. A 9 to 5 job. A job so I can pay rent, eat, buy stuff, and fund all of my film ventures until I start to get studio backing for them(hopefully eventually). School is over and I have to be responsible. Hmm. Welcome to the suck.

Members pageJust so you know, we are aware of the display problems with the members page. We will get this fixed as soon as possible but until then no worries, the layout will just be a little messed up.
