Internet Explorer IssueWe are aware of the current Internet Explorer issue with rendering the page correctly. Right now we're working on getting a lot of the back end features of the site working, and as you may have noticed, there have been a lot of new features popping up this past week on the beta site. The problem with Internet Explorer will get fixed as soon as we have time to deal with it, but until then we recommend using another browser such as Firefox to view the pages the way they were intended.
Internet Explorer does not process CSS the way it's supposed to, so for I.E. users we will have to go back and "fix" the site so that it will look right.

RSS syndicationI am looking for some people to test out the RSS feed I created for the site.
As you may or may not know, I am writing everything for this site by hand. Which means no copy and paste, no recycling stuff I have written before. Only web tutorials and maybe a tiny bit of copy and paste (at least I admit it).

Site designThings are going very well on the new site design. We are currently working on new features to implement. We have a few already coded, but for the most part the site is about as functional as it is now.
After I get a few more things coded into the site we are going to need a few beta testers to give it the run down before we actually go live with the new site. Anybody interested give us a shout at The FilmChicago Email.

Looking for Talent As the site design gets underway(we actually have a testing site partially up already but I can't give you the URL, sorry!), I wanted to let everyone know that we are looking for writing talent out there who would like to be involved in the production of our online newsletter once the site is up and running. We are looking for journalists who would seek out interesting stories about Chicago filmmaking, informative "how to's", and interviews of key members in the Chicago/midwest filmmaking culture. That said, we are also open to area filmmakers and video/film production related businesses who want to get their story heard, or who are interested in writing columns for us in the style of DV Magazine -- reviewing products, teaching basic to complex theories and practices for everything from writing and production to post and distribution.
